Mary Elizabeth Lockwood Beneventi MBA Scholarship

The Mary Elizabeth Lockwood Beneventi MBA Scholarship is a prize given annually by the Daughters of the American Revolution.

This scholarship is intended for graduate students who are majoring in business administration. A student who is majoring in business administration and attending graduate school full-time at an accredited college or university is eligible to receive the Mary Elizabeth Lockwood Beneventi MBA Scholarship.

This scholarship is awarded on a one-time basis. The applicant must have a grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.25 on a scale of 4.0 or the equivalent GPA on the scale used by the relevant educational institution.

The scholarship does not have an automatic renewal policy; rather, beneficiaries have the opportunity to reapply for consideration on an annual basis. A one-time preferred amount scholarship with a maximum award of $2,000 to be awarded to a student who is majoring in business administration (MBA) and attending graduate school full-time at an accredited college or university.

There is just one scholarship available from the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) that a student can be considered for.

The criteria for awarding scholarships may include academic excellence, commitment to the subject of study, financial need, or any number of other factors, depending on the particular scholarship.

There is no requirement for membership in the DAR unless it is specifically stated. Scholarships are given to deserving students regardless of race, religion, sex, or nation of origin. Following the acceptance of a ruling by the executive committee of the NSDAR, the National DAR Scholarship Chairman notifies only the winners of the scholarship.
