CEDAR SoCal Scholarship

The CEDAR SoCal Scholarship is a four-year undergraduate scholarship and mentorship program. It is called a “last dollar” award. This means that CEDAR helps students bridge the gap between the cost of college and their scholarships and financial aid.

It is determined on an individual basis. All receive a laptop computer, tuition aid, textbooks, housing, and transportation. The average annual prize worth per student is $5,000.

In addition, CEDAR SoCal Scholars have a monthly connection with program directors. These directors assist with the ongoing problems students experience on their postsecondary journey. Lastly, they attend CEDAR events on a yearly basis.

CEDAR Scholars attend a variety of private and public universities inside and outside of California.
